As a Board Director at Scottish Renewables, she plays a pivotal role in championing Scotland’s renewable energy transition and advancing the path to net zero.
Craig
Commercial & Finance Director
Craig is responsible for activities spanning legal, finance, procurement and project management. He brings over a decade of experience in renewables having held senior roles covering the development, investment and financing of wind, solar and battery storage projects. Craig is a chartered accountant with expertise in corporate finance, M&A and financial modelling.
Brian
Technical & Engineering Director
As Technical & Engineering Director, Brian leads Buchan Offshore Wind’s engineering strategy, technical assurance and design maturity across all packages, ensuring alignment with certification, programme and contracting needs. He guides multi-disciplinary teams and critical interfaces. Brian is a Chartered Engineer and ICE Fellow with close to 20 years’ experience in complex offshore and infrastructure projects.
Ian
Head of Consenting and Land
Ian leads the consenting and property aspects of the project and plays a key role in stakeholder engagement. He has a background in marine biology and nearly 20 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector across a range of technologies, providing a wealth of both technical knowledge and an understanding of navigating complex projects through the stakeholder engagement and consenting process.
Oliver
Health & Safety Manager
Oliver is a Chartered Health and Safety professional with over 12 years’ experience in renewable energy H&S. He leads strategic CDM governance and champions Safe-by-Design and ALARP principles from concept through delivery. Oliver builds trusted relationships, drives compliance, and fosters collaboration to create a safer, healthier, and high-performing project environment.
Lisa
Legal Counsel
Lisa provides strategic legal advice across all aspects of the project, with a strong focus on delivering practical solutions whilst managing risk. She brings a wealth of commercial expertise to the team, having spent a decade with an international law firm specialising in the delivery of complex development projects.
Logan
Supply Chain and Procurement Lead
Logan is an experienced professional with over a decade of involvement in the construction industry. He has a wide range of expertise from the offshore wind, electricity transmission and civil engineering sectors. Logan has worked on some of the UK’s most complex offshore wind projects and brings that perspective to the Buchan Project.

BayWa r.e. is an international project developer of wind, solar and battery storage (BESS) projects. Its activities include the planning, development and construction of these projects, as well as their operation and maintenance, and energy trading. In total, BayWa r.e. has successfully brought online more than 6 GW of renewable energy.
BayWa r.e. has been active in the United Kingdom since 2011. The development pipeline in the UK and Ireland currently includes over 3.3 GW of onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage projects, being delivered from offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
BW Ideol is a market leader in floating offshore wind with 15 years of experience in the design, execution and development of floating wind projects based on its patented Damping Pool® technology. BW Ideol has two floating offshore wind turbines in operation in France and Japan, as well as a 30 MW project nearing commissioning in the Mediterranean, 250MW under development in the Mediterranean and the Buchan Offshore Wind project under development in Scotland. BW Ideol leverages BW Offshore’s experience in the development and operation of offshore energy production systems.
