With winter showing no signs of letting up, we’re delighted to have provided cosy winter coats to the Buchan Violets football team.

The are currently 28 wee Violets, aged 5 and 6, who are the youngest members of the Buchan Girls and Ladies Football Club, which has teams for all ages from 5 to adult.

The Violets train once a week and play at Cormack Park in Aberdeen on Sunday mornings, with games from March to December. The girls play 4v4 games versus girls from many areas in Aberdeen and Shire.

All the Buchan teams play all over Aberdeen and Shire, and their competitive teams travel as far as Inverness and Stonehaven in their leagues and further in cup competitions.
