Buchan Offshore Wind has partnered with global supply chain specialists Achilles Information to implement a new and enhanced supply chain management system.

The introduction of the new system will allow the Buchan team to standardise supplier onboarding and evaluation across the project’s entire supply chain – thereby ensuring that suppliers are assessed consistently against a high set of standards.

Commenting on the partnership, Buchan Offshore Wind Supply Chain Manager Logan Robb said:

“The evaluation of suppliers is time-consuming and the implementation of this new system best-in-class system will free up valuable time to the commercial, HSEQ and engineering teams “In addition, the Achilles system comes with a pre-vetted set of registered suppliers, which will allow the Buchan project to source work from a broader supplier pool without having to compromise on quality or time.”
