New Starter: Catriona Munro - Offshore Consents Manager

Buchan Offshore Wind is growing! We are delighted to welcome Catriona Munro as our new Offshore Consents Manager into the team. Catriona has got extensive experience within the sector - you can find out more about her career so far, and what she is excited about at Buchan Offshore Wind below:

Education

BSc (Hons) Applied Marine Biology from Heriot-Watt University.

Previous Experience

Project managed the EIA for the Green Volt floating offshore windfarm, a 560MW development off the coast of Peterhead.
Offshore EIA lead for Dogger Bank D, part of the world’s largest offshore windfarm development.
Five years of coastal and offshore environmental survey experience.

Hobbies

I have two young boys, so spend a lot of time hanging out with them/clearing up the trail of destruction they leave in their wake!
Very keen horse rider, if I am not at work or chasing small children around, you can find me on the back of a horse.

What you are most excited about at Buchan Offshore Wind?

I am so excited about being part of a team right at the early stages of the project. Buchan is a trail-blazer, it brings together a whole host of opportunities and challenges, and I am really looking forward to help shape the future of this Project.
